About SkillsActive

On the 1st October 2003 SPRITO, one of the original EQUIPE partners, became one of the new Sector Skills Councils (SSCs), called SkillsActive. SPRITO continued as an organisation running projects and selling materials, but SkillsActive took its place in the EQUIPE partnership, and is now the official agency in charge of skills and training for the sport, recreation and leisure industries, including Playwork.

SkillsActive's Project

SkillsActive's EQUIPE project was made up of twelve smaller projects that were delivered throughout the country. The twelve projects were as follows:
